When a commitment is made to Jesus Christ either by joining His church or professing a faith in Him, our lives and our “stuff” become His.  We can only grow in our faith when we give of our money and our time. 

The leaders and servants in this area are responsible for teaching about stewardship as well as encouraging and challenging people to give.  They are will also plug people into areas of service both within the church and outside in the community 

Ways to serve on the Outreach Team include:

Organizing days of service.

Working to send mission teams.

Going on a mission trip.

Assisting all people of the church in finding ways they can serve and give.

this Summer in Costa Rica!

The last week of July Brookhaven UMC sent a team of five to Costa Rica to serve the people there with teaching children and working on small renovations to a building.  Thank you for praying and supporting the team throughout the summer of 2007.
