Children's Ministry

Welcome to the Children's Ministries of Brookhaven United Methodist Church!

The goal of this ministry is to help children integrate Christian faith and their lives, to develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and to learn and play with others in a safe, nurturing environment.

GrowUnited: What if families could grow in faith together?

Sundays, 9:30am – 12 Noon : Starting Aug 22nd Using a proven curriculum and innovative approach to Bible studies, GrowUnited will be sure to get the family talking!

Each family member explores the same Bible lesson and discovers the same Scriptural truth in an age-appropriate class. The program includes fun skits and crafts for the kids, meaningful conversation and parenting support for the adults, and even a mid-week reflection sheet to incorporate the lesson at home. GowUnited even incorporates the Monday morning CDC Chapel, so join us!

Children's Ministry Weekly Schedule

Sunday Schedule

Babies / Toddlers

Currently we offer two classes for our nursery children:

Infant Class*, 0-18 months and Toddler Class*, 18-36 months

Nursery hours are 9:45AM - 12:00PM on Sunday mornings.

Children's Programs

Children's Sunday school* @ 9:45AM - 10:45AM,

Location: Children's Department, 2nd floor of the Education Building

Children's Church* @ 11:00 AM

(Children gather in the Sanctuary with their families where they stay for 1st quarter of the Worship service before going to Children's Church)

Pickup Location: Children's Department, 2nd floor of the Education Building
