To witness is to share what we have learned about God to those around us.  Our witness ministry focuses on welcoming and responding to those who are new to faith, new to the church, or simply curious about who God is.  We believe that we are all Invited by the Spirit to:

Worship God

build Relationships with other christians

When you come to BUMC, you are invited into the presence of God through worship and are invited into the fellowship of believers in small groups such as Sunday school and Bible studies. 

The leaders and servants in the Witness ministry area are responsible for welcoming and connecting people into the life of the church.

Ways to serve on the Witness Team include:

Greeting on Sunday mornings and other church events.

Calling church visitors.

Hosting the Hospitality room on Sundya morning.

Mentoring those who are new to the faith.

Assisting people in connecting to a small group.
