To nurture is to provide an environment and the rsources for people to grow.  The ministry of  nurture works to empower you on the journey of discipleship through:

Scripture

Prayer

Everyone who desires to grow in their relationship with Christ must commit to learning and study of God’s Holy Word and to the  spiritual disciplines that allow us to communicate with our creator.  Membership in the church requires that we participate in our own growth through scripture and prayer.

The leaders and servants in this area are responsible for teaching and planning small groups, retreats and prayer cells that will provide opportunity for people to encounter the transforming power of God.

Ways to serve in the ministry of nurture include:

Teaching Sunday schoool, Bible studies and other classes.

Attending our Sunday morning prayer and communion service to pray for those in need.

Work on bringing new resources to our library and highlighting current resources.

Plan retreats for spiritual growth.
